Dr. Samuel H. Kimball

Dr. Kimball grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT. After High School he served a two-year mission for his church in Quebec, Canada. Upon returning he attended Brigham Young University where he met his wife Christine. After receiving a bachelors of science in 2005, Dr. Kimball was accepted into the Ohio State University College of Optometry program and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry and Masters of Science degrees in 2009.

He is a member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA), American Optometric Association (AOA), American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and the La Grande Lion's Club.

Dr. Kimball has 3 young children. Outside of optometry he enjoys sports, especially basketball, and the outdoors.

Carmen Garrett

Carmen grew up in La Grande and graduated from La Grande High School in 1984. She attended college in Salem but moved back to La Grande to pursue her career. Carmen has worked as an optician and office manager for 16 years. She is a certified optician and currently carries CPO and CPOA certifications.

Denise Wheeler

Denise moved to La Grande with her husband and 3 daughters in 2001. She enjoys the theater and is actively involved in performing, choriographing, and designing cosutmes for theatrical productions. She is a proud grandmother and looks forward to her family continuing to grow. Denise is eager to help and will greet you with a smile.

Sherri Wright

Sherri is a native to the Grande Ronde Valley. She enjoys taking advantage of the outdoors with her husband, 2 sons, and now grandson. She has worked with children as a Daycare provider for 18 years, as an ambulance dispatcher, an x-ray tech, and is now excited to be a part of La Grande Family Eye Care as the newest optician.
